Nobody likes to hear bad news after the event and as an event professional you appreciate the subtlety of ensuring all details of your event are considered and covered before you open up your doors to your clients, patrons and the media.
Beaspoke Safety supports your professionalism by ensuring your on-site and workplace safety requirements are met and exceeded.
Our experience in producing and managing events, at every level, empowers us to approach each situation with understanding and sensitivity to ensure the outcome that best fits the style of your event.
Beaspoke Safety provides the best solution to ensure that you consistently comply with current legislation and industry best practice.
We can assist in the following areas:
Policies & Procedures form the backbone of your organisation’s OHS / WHS culture, covering all aspects of your logistics & operations, representing the framework for compliance and understanding for all of your stakeholders, suppliers and workers.
We work with you and your team to ensure your health and safety policies and procedures are ‘real’ and manageable, and that what is written on paper is a true reflection of your company’s values and direction.
We help you develop comprehensive health and safety documents that communicate the importance of a proactive focus and an emphasis on safety in your organisation; and we will work with you ensure this is translated into effective action.
Let us use our extensive knowledge of compliance to legislation & industry best-practice to review and recommend how these systems may conform or confirm that you are on the right track.
Gap Analysis will quickly identify any areas for improvement, or those ares which need to be included in your current OHS / WHS systems.
Whether you already have existing policies and procedures in place and would like a second opinion, or need to update to current legislation, we are able to assist you and your team through our Gap Analysis process.
We review, investigate and assess your company based on:
We will then provide you with a written and photographic report (where applicable) and subsequent guidance of those aspects that need to be addressed immediately and through gradual implementation.
As Event Professionals you would be at great pains to ensure your operations are compliant when onsite, but are you as compliant with your places of work, offices & warehouses? The high demand to deliver services onsite sometimes means extra OHS / WHS control systems need to be developed to cope with the impact at your base of operations. Beaspoke Safety offers safety audits for your base of operations and delivers policy & procedural solutions tailored to satisfy your changing needs.
Beaspoke Safety will assist you to take the necessary actions and for what may otherwise be extremely costly issues further down the track.
Having relevant risk management plans that are completed by ‘competent’ people, with effective and attainable control measures is just one part of the process to ensure the safety of the public, contractors and staff.
Beaspoke Safety has extensive knowledge of the requirements of OHS / WHS legislation throughout Australia. We recognise that those involved in events often need common sense advice to protect them from the possibilities of litigation.
The documentation that we develop with you will be logical and methodical, so you can understand the procedures and take ownership of them.
To assist your risk management planning we offer the following additional services:
This list of services is not exclusive and can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
It is vital to engage fully with your contractors to ensure that health and safety is properly managed. Beaspoke Safety can develop a contractor management system that ensures you able to track and identify what documentation is outstanding and allow you to identify who is proficient in safety and an excellent alliance with you.
Drawing upon our personal experience as event contractors, we apply our skills to develop a contractor management system that is both realistic in scope and also satisfies the specific needs of your organisational requirements for retaining and managing contractors and their sub-contractors.
In addition, given the risks associated with events, it makes good business sense to maintain and operate under appropriate systems to minimise the risk of breaching legislative, community and commercial obligations.
Whether it be a general JSA (Job Safety Analysis) risk assessment prepared to detail general tasks or a SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) that is required to go into finer detail to encompass “High-Risk” works, it is a legal requirement under OHS / WHS law that a site-specific risk assessment be prepared prior to work commencing.
As this is the first document that a regulatory body such as WorkSafe, a lawyer or an insurance assessor is likely to review in the event of an incident, ‘site-specific’ means prepared exclusively for that job, not rehashed from a previous risk assessment.
We will work with you and your team to identify the ‘high risk’ works and develop the appropriate statement in conjunction with those involved in the high risk work.
NB. A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is similar to a Job Safety Analysis (JSA). You may continue to use existing JSA formats providing you contain all the information required of an SWMS.
